Switching Between Heating and Cooling
Please be aware that this kind of radiant heating and cooling is slow response so keep this in mind when switching modes.
Inverter Units
- From the home screen, press enter and switch the unit off (when the unit is on, it cannot switch between modes)
- Once the unit is off, scroll through the options to find user mask. Press enter to select this option and then scroll through the options to find ‘Cooling’ and press enter to select this option.
- Use escape to get back to the home screen. There should now be a snowflake, showing that you are in cooling mode.
- Press enter, and switch the unit back on. You are now in cooling mode.
- Use the same steps to return to heating mode (but select ‘Heating’ instead of ‘Cooling’ under user mask).
Non-Inverter Units
Not all of our non-inverter units can be switched to cooling. Before you start, check to see whether your model can be used for cooling.
- Unlock the heat pump control panel, by pressing and holding the power button until it beeps and the lock symbol disappears.
- Press and hold the “+” button for five seconds until it beeps and the shower symbol is replaced by the snowflake symbol.
- Follow the same steps to switch back to heating.
