Running Out of Hot Water? Here’s a Quick Fix!
We understand how frustrating it can be to run out of hot water, and we’re doing our best to assist you. However, if this happens outside our normal business hours, you can temporarily switch on the electric element in your hot water cylinder to restore hot water until our technician can visit.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Locate the Hot Water Cylinder Switch
Go to your hot water cylinder cupboard.
Find the switch near the cylinder, usually labeled for the electric element
2. Turn on the Electric Element
Flip the switch on to activate the electric element for your hot water cylinder.
3. Check the Time Clock (if applicable)
Go to your switchboard or electrical meter board.
Look for a time clock (this controls when the electric element operates).
If you have a time clock, switch it to "manual on" or "on all the time" to ensure the element stays active.

These steps should restore hot water until we can assist you.

Press "menu" button a few times till "man" shows above the time.
Press "ok" button 4 times till the mode is showing "On" on the top right.
Press "menu" button to save the settings.
